I can make you beautiful

I will make you beautiful, and rise you up from these ashes.

Let you rise up from all the past fear.

You will see a newer perspective of beauty from my eyes, and I shall love you better than you love yourself.

I see through your insecure moments, and it is clear to me;

That I have a wonderful person in front of myself whom, in a moment can keep a beautiful painting in my mind of them;

Not a super model, celebrity or the society’s ideal imagery of self being adorned with lusted beauty,

But the person before me seen in new sets of eyes through a heart that is true.

I will make you beautiful, when the world refuses to let you shine.

Corrupted as it may seem, I will not be interpret the outer shell as being the important source of your being.

I shall love you unconditionally, and set forth an expectation that you do the same.

I shall see your beauty, and you shall see mine.

Why? You may ask.

Why me?

Because I already see you as beautiful, I can make you more so.

Because I love every inch of you, and where the world seems to freeze.

Because you got into my heart, soul and head.

My demons can no longer tread here. Yours are welcomed to be baggage with mine.

I can be beautiful, and I wish to do so with you.

Instead of asking “Why me?”

 the question you should of asked yourself was ”Why not?”

I can make you beautiful, because I carry you in my heart and in my mind.

Your image I see from my perspective is like a photograph, memorized and welcomed.

They’re warm and full of life.

Just like how you have made me feel.

You are my idea of beautiful.

The Secret Garden

I have a little friend whom wanted to dress up in a tutu for a day. I made her dream come true, and at the end of the shoot snapped a couple of shots of her with her mommy on Mother's day saying"I love you Mommy! Thank you for the tutu you made me!" Which in all essence my assistant Jana was all but happy to comply. Happy Mother's day to everybody, and thanks for everything. You have made this journey absolutely worth it!

Congrats Mel!

Congrats Mel!! I am proud that you made it and got good grades from doing your PSW course. I hope that this shoot made you smile inside like it did for me to make you feel good to get pictures done. You deserved this! Good friends are hard to come by. Mel, this is my graduation present to you.

Working on a beautiful project

I had a friend  approach me after seeing this photograph I did recently, and she was in awe. She asked me " Would you ever consider doing something like this for kids?" Then it dawned on me as a mom, NOBODY had this when my boys were small babies, or for when they got bigger. Every kid likes to make believe or pretend to be something. Cosplay is a big thing these days, and who says that I couldn't make a child look like a witch, a werewolf if they were a teenager or preteen, vampire or even a walking dead member? Or a fairy princess, or fair maiden with fairies around them in the forest? What mom or dad wouldn't want their kids to be encouraged to dream, make believe or have an imagination? Or, be a character that they want for an afternoon?

I know my kids would love to get their hands on some dirty ruined tshirts, ripped jeans and have their mom change their colouring to make them look like vampires or walking dead. And I love how my assistant Jana makes the tutu's! They are custom made for the clients for the fit of the little girl, and they get to keep them at the end of the shoot for a cost.The tutu takes a week to be made minimum, but it is so worth it. If little girls have tank tops that match the colours chosen, we suggest them to be plain with no print, or plain with lace. All tutu skirts go down to the floor and are made with love and attention to detail.

Since I am now open for business for the spring/summer; I am looking forward to seeing what can be accomplished as a small business owner just starting out.

Baby dragons

I was out at school today and ran into three little baby dragons as I sat outside for a coffee.. they were fighting over a gumball and it started to glow. Did you know that dragons make things glow in order to magically take off with them as part of their hoard? I didn't either.. I never thought baby dragons could be SO fierce and try to steal a gumball.. I never knew they liked candy at all!! Now I know for sure. The things that happen when spring has sprung and you go for a breather.
